As our new Product Support Technician, you won’t just sit behind a desk — you’ll be in the thick of it, rolling up your sleeves, tackling challenges, and driving success for our expanding network of dealers and rental houses in the MEWP sector.
About the Role
Reporting to the VP of After Sales, you’ll be the go-to person for technical support, training, and problem-solving. Whether it’s replacing hydraulic fittings, swapping summer oil for winter weight, or crawling under equipment to diagnose an issue, you’ll be a crucial player in our operations. Your expertise will directly enhance dealer relationships and customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities
- Build strong partnerships with dealership service teams and factory representatives.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support.
- Lead pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and assist with parts inventory management.
- Develop engaging training materials and lead training sessions for dealership personnel.
- Manage warranty processes and implement product improvement programs.
- Travel to dealer and customer locations to perform training, programming, and repairs — even turning wrenches when needed!
What You Bring
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician certification or equivalent experience in the construction equipment industry.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Service Technician with a focus on heavy equipment or MEWP.
- Familiarity with dealership service operations and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-first mindset.
- WHMIS and safety training (an asset).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office; French language skills are a bonus.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility to work varied hours.
